Brian Windhorst caused a ruckus after stating his opinion on the Ryen Russillow show. Windhorst stated that many analyst across the nation believe the breakup between Derrick Rose and the Chicago Bulls have begun. However, after a 29 points, seven assists, and five rebounds performance at the United Center, Derrick Rose shut him up quickly. As for Rose, he says he’s just numb to these kinds of statements.

“Here’s how I feel about Derrick Rose: The breakup with the Bulls has begun. I don’t know how long it’s going to last, I don’t know when it’s going to be complete, but you can sort of see it. The team and the franchise have moved on, to a little bit of a certain extent.” Brian Windhorst

“I’m so numb to it, man. I try to stay away from it. I know who I am as a person and as a player. I know how hard I work. I know how much I dedicate my life to this sport. Everyone else has their opinion, that’s their opinion. I’m okay with that. I’m just here to play.” Derrick Rose responding to Windhorst’s statements

Windhorst’s opinion was stated after Rose’s single digit performances in three straight games. However, with zero training camp and just 10 minutes of preseason action, Rose’s road to recovery is a process, and he knows it.
