Just a few short months after being fired by the Chicago Bulls, Tom Thibodeau sets his focus on Team USA’s mini camp in Las Vegas. Thibodeau will be the assistant coach to Mike Krzyzewski next summer in Rio de Janerio.
Jimmy Butler is one of 34 players attending the mini camp in Las Vegas. Butler hopes to be selected on the 2016 Olympic roster that will be taken place in Rio de Janerio. The current Bulls star has reunited with his former coach this week. Tom Thibodeau has said he’s moved on and has nothing but kind words for the Bulls franchise despite Jerry Reinsdorf’s open letter to Tom Thibodeau.
