It wasn’t only 60s night at the United Center, it was throwback night for Derrick Rose too. The former MVP faced off against Westbrook for the first time since 2010. After scoring 29 points, seven assists, and grabbing five rebounds, Rose clearly outplayed Westbrook.

“The year that he had last year, I’m happy for him. We’re kind of similar, but Russ is Russ. I love his game.” – Derrick Rose on Westbrook

“He doesn’t care at all. But it bothers me for him. People don’t realize how hard it is when you’ve had injuries. Sometimes he says crazy sh*t, gets him in trouble. But at the end of the day, he’s a competitor.” – Joakim Noah on Rose’s criticism

Jimmy Butler caught fire in the first half but finished the game with 26 points and strong defense holding Kevin Durant from exploding. Doug McDermott had the chance to start for the first time in his young career.
