The Chicago Bulls stuck to the theme of launching three-pointers tonight as they attempted 32 threes in their 123-115 defeat to the Pelicans.

The Bulls were led by Bobby Portis who brought everything he had tonight. Portis scored 20 points with 11 rebounds on 8-12 shooting including a few three-pointers. Tony Snell turned things around as he poured in 15 points on 7-11 but rolled his ankle late in the fourth quarter.

Doug McDermott continued his hot shooting as he scored 17 points with three three-pointers. McDermott also grabbed eight rebounds for the Bulls. Despite the great effort by Portis, the Bulls had no response for Anthony Davis. Davis scored 26 points in 27 minutes as he beat his hometown team.

The Bulls play the Pistons next on Wednesday. It seems McDermott might be starting in place of the injured Snell.
