Derrick Rose has opted out on participating in the 2015 Las Vegas mini camp for Team USA. Rose is the only member from the 2014 FIBA World Cup champion team that will not participate this summer.

Rose will not be eligible to participate in the 2016 Olympics in Rio de Janerio because he chose to skip this summer’s mini camp.

Jimmy Butler is one of the 34 attendees for the camp this summer.  He will have a chance to play for the 2016 Olympics team if he’s chosen by Jerry Colangelo.

Russell Westbrook, Lebron James, James Harden, and Chris Paul headline the mini camp in Las Vegas this summer.
