The Bulls desperately needed to get back on track after losing to the Timberwolves on Saturday night. The Bulls cruised past the Sixers 111-88 to improve their record to 5-3. Joakim Noah was listed as a starter going into the game, but he was a late scratch just minutes before tip-off.
Nikola Mirotic was shooting 8-26 in his past three games going into tonight’s matchup against the Sixers. With his starting role on the line, Mirotic produced big time as he scored 20 points on 6-11 shooting and grabbed 10 rebounds.
That’s Noah’s surgically repaired left knee. And it’s also why he didn’t start after being told he would.

The Bulls faced off against Jahlil Okafor, a rookie from Chicago. Okafor scored 21 points with 15 rebounds with Nerlens Noel out of the lineup.
